    CVE-2022-27204 · GHSA-fqpx-xfjr-2qr9

    Affected
    • Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:extended-choice-parameter <= 346.vd87693c5a
    Fixed in
    356.va_90a_94ca_62ec· Vendor fix available
    Issue
    Extended Choice Parameter Plugin 346.vd87693c5a86c and earlier does not perform a permission check on form validation methods. This allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified URL. Additionally, these form validation methods do not require POST requests, resulting in a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.

    Recommended action: Upgrade to 356.va_90a_94ca_62ec or later, then redeploy and verify.A vendor fix does not resolve your finding until you verify it in your own systems.
