    Command Injection in pdfinfojs

    CVE-2018-3746 · GHSA-3pxp-6963-46r9

    Affected
    • npm pdfinfojs < 0.4.1
    Fixed in
    0.4.1· Vendor fix available
    Issue
Versions of pdfinfojs before 0.4.1 are vulnerable to command injection. This is exploitable if an attacker can control the filename parameter that is passed into the pdfinfojs constructor. Recommendation Update to version 0.4.1 or later.

Recommended action: Upgrade to 0.4.1 or later, then redeploy and verify.A vendor fix does not resolve your finding until you verify it in your own systems.
