Aimeos Pagible CMS vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via DNS rebinding in admin proxy
CVE-2026-49262GHSA-mmj8-wcvw-6789
What to do
Vendor fix available. Upgrade each affected package to the fixed version on its release line (aimeos/pagible 0.10.4), redeploy, then verify what is actually installed.
This page has no inventory attached, so it cannot say whether you are affected. A vendor fix is not proof that your deployment is fixed.

Summary The administrative proxy route (cmsproxy) in Aimeos Pagible CMS is vulnerable to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack via DNS Rebinding. A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists between the URL validation phase and the actual HTTP request phase, allowing attackers to access internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. Details Before executing an HTTP request to fetch external content, the AdminController::proxy controller validates the target URL using \Aimeos\Cms\Utils::isValidUrl($url). This function performs a DNS query to verify that the hostname does not resolve to private or reserved IP ranges (e.g., 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.0/8, 169.254.169.254). If the validation passes, the application proceeds to the "Use" phase, invoking Guzzle/cURL to send the request. However, Guzzle performs a second DNS lookup to establish the socket connection. An attacker can exploit this by setting up a malicious DNS server for a domain they control and…

# Patch Next advisory brief: CVE-2026-49262 Advisory: Aimeos Pagible CMS vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via DNS rebinding in admin proxy IDs: CVE-2026-49262, GHSA-mmj8-wcvw-6789 Record: https://patchnext.com/advisories/cve-2026-49262 (revision 1, source checked 26 Oct 2026, 14:49 UTC) Inventory: none attached. This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected. Severity: Low (CVSS 3.0) Exploitation: no confirmed exploitation recorded. Patch Next confirms exploitation only from CISA KEV. Vendor response: Vendor fix available; fixed versions by package: aimeos/pagible 0.10.4. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed. ## Affected components - Packagist aimeos/pagible: affected < 0.10.4; fixed in 0.10.4 ## Suggested inspection (read-only) - Packagist aimeos/pagible: check the installed version with your package manager. ## Supported action Upgrade each affected component to a fixed version on its release line. For a transitive dependency, upgrade the parent package or add an override or constraint, then regenerate the lockfile. Redeploy every environment that ran an affected version. ## Required regression checks - Run the test suite and a production build. - Exercise the features that depend on aimeos/pagible. - Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed. ## Rollback considerations - Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-mmj8-wcvw-6789 (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-mmj8-wcvw-6789 lists affected ranges: Packagist aimeos/pagible >=0 <0.10.4) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
