praisonai-platform: Label endpoints' unchecked label_id/issue_id enable cross-workspace label IDOR (edit, delete, link)
CVE-2026-47414GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65
What to do
Vendor fix available. Upgrade each affected package to the fixed version on its release line (praisonai-platform 0.1.4), redeploy, then verify what is actually installed.
This page has no inventory attached, so it cannot say whether you are affected. A vendor fix is not proof that your deployment is fixed.

Summary Type: Insecure Direct Object Reference. Five label endpoints — PATCH /workspaces/{workspaceid}/labels/{labelid}, DELETE .../labels/{labelid}, POST .../issues/{issueid}/labels/{labelid}, DELETE .../issues/{issueid}/labels/{labelid}, GET .../issues/{issueid}/labels — gate access on requireworkspacemember(workspaceid) only and pass URL-supplied labelid and issueid straight through to LabelService without verifying either belongs to the workspace. File: src/praisonai-platform/praisonaiplatform/services/labelservice.py, lines 35-100; route handlers at src/praisonai-platform/praisonaiplatform/api/routes/labels.py, lines 42-106. Root cause: identical pattern to the agent / issue / project / comment IDORs in this codebase: the route's workspaceid is used as a membership predicate but never threaded through to the service layer. LabelService.get(labelid) runs session.get(IssueLabel, labelid) with no workspace filter; update/delete inherit the gap; addtoissue(issueid, labelid) and…

# Patch Next advisory brief: CVE-2026-47414 Advisory: praisonai-platform: Label endpoints' unchecked label_id/issue_id enable cross-workspace label IDOR (edit, delete, link) IDs: CVE-2026-47414, GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65 Record: https://patchnext.com/advisories/cve-2026-47414 (revision 2, source checked 26 Oct 2026, 13:41 UTC) Inventory: none attached. This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected. Severity: High (CVSS 7.6) Exploitation: no confirmed exploitation recorded. Patch Next confirms exploitation only from CISA KEV. Vendor response: Vendor fix available; fixed versions by package: praisonai-platform 0.1.4. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed. ## Affected components - PyPI praisonai-platform: affected <= 0.1.2; fixed in 0.1.4 ## Suggested inspection (read-only) - `python -m pip show praisonai-platform`: prints the installed version. Run with the environment that serves production active. ## Supported action Upgrade each affected component to a fixed version on its release line. For a transitive dependency, upgrade the parent package or add an override or constraint, then regenerate the lockfile. Redeploy every environment that ran an affected version. ## Required regression checks - Run the test suite and a production build. - Exercise the features that depend on praisonai-platform. - Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed. ## Rollback considerations - Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65 (OSV record GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65 lists affected ranges: PyPI praisonai-platform >=0 <0.1.4 (fixed)) - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65 (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-5jx9-w35f-vp65 lists affected ranges: PyPI praisonai-platform >=0 <=0.1.2) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
