FacturaScripts: CSV formula injection in CSVExport allows authenticated low-priv users to plant payloads that execute when an admin opens the export

CVE-2026-45263GHSA-2p5x-4jr6-x5jg

What to do

Vendor fix available. Upgrade each affected package to the fixed version on its release line (facturascripts/facturascripts 2026.2), redeploy, then verify what is actually installed.

This page has no inventory attached, so it cannot say whether you are affected. A vendor fix is not proof that your deployment is fixed.

Summary > Live PoC verified 2026-04-30 against a stock FacturaScripts master at `127.0.0.1:8081`. A low-privilege user (`lowpriv`) created a customer with `nombre = "=SUM(1+1)*cmd|/c calc!A1"`. An admin then exported `ListCliente` to CSV via `?action=export&option=CSV`. The downloaded file contains the raw payload as the first cell of the `nombre` column, with no leading single quote and no escape. Excel and LibreOffice will execute the formula on open, including DDE invocations such as `=cmd|'/c calc'!A1` that spawn arbitrary processes on the admin workstation. `Core/Lib/Export/CSVExport.php::writeData()` wraps every cell in the configured delimiter (`"`) and concatenates without inspecting the first character of the value. Spreadsheet applications interpret a cell that starts with `=`, `+`, `-`, `@`, `\t`, or `\r` as a formula. Because FacturaScripts only sanitises HTML metacharacters (` " '`) on save via `Tools::noHtml()` (`Core/Tools.php:45`), the formula prefix characters…

# Patch Next advisory brief: CVE-2026-45263

Advisory: FacturaScripts: CSV formula injection in CSVExport allows authenticated low-priv users to plant payloads that execute when an admin opens the export
IDs: CVE-2026-45263, GHSA-2p5x-4jr6-x5jg
Record: https://patchnext.com/advisories/cve-2026-45263 (revision 3, source checked 3 Nov 2026, 06:10 UTC)
Inventory: none attached. This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected.
Severity: High (CVSS 8.0)
Exploitation: no confirmed exploitation recorded. Patch Next confirms exploitation only from CISA KEV.
Vendor response: Vendor fix available; fixed versions by package: facturascripts/facturascripts 2026.2. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed.

## Affected components
- Packagist facturascripts/facturascripts: affected < 2026.2; fixed in 2026.2

## Suggested inspection (read-only)
- Packagist facturascripts/facturascripts: check the installed version with your package manager.

## Supported action
Upgrade each affected component to a fixed version on its release line. For a transitive dependency, upgrade the parent package or add an override or constraint, then regenerate the lockfile. Redeploy every environment that ran an affected version.

## Required regression checks
- Run the test suite and a production build.
- Exercise the features that depend on facturascripts/facturascripts.
- Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed.

## Rollback considerations
- Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward.

## Unresolved questions
- Which deployments run an affected version?
- Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority.
- Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production.
