Source description
As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.
Summary POST /api/import/importSY and POST /api/import/importZipMd write uploaded archives to a path derived from the multipart filename field without sanitization, allowing an admin to write files to arbitrary locations outside the temp directory - including system paths that enable RCE. Details File: kernel/api/import.go - functions importSY and importZipMd importZipMd has a second traversal in unzipPath construction: filepath.Join calls filepath.Clean internally, but cleaning happens after concatenation - sufficient ../ sequences escape the base directory entirely. The curl tool sanitizes ../ in multipart filenames, so exploitation requires sending the raw HTTP request via Python requests or a custom client. PoC Environment: Exploit: RCE via cron (root container): Confirmed response on v3.6.0: {"code":0,"msg":"","data":null} Impact An admin can write arbitrary content to any path writable by the SiYuan process: - RCE via /etc/cron.d/ (root containers), ~/.bashrc, SSH…

# Patch Next advisory brief: CVE-2026-32749 Advisory: SiYuan importSY/importZipMd: path traversal via multipart filename enables arbitrary file write IDs: CVE-2026-32749, GHSA-qvvf-q994-x79v Record: https://patchnext.com/advisories/cve-2026-32749 (revision 1, source checked 26 Oct 2026, 15:18 UTC) Inventory: none attached. This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected. Severity: High (CVSS 7.6) Exploitation: no confirmed exploitation recorded. Patch Next confirms exploitation only from CISA KEV. Vendor response: Vendor response not established. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed. ## Affected components - Go github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel: affected <= 0.0.0-20260313024916-fd6526133bb3 ## Suggested inspection (read-only) - Go github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel: check the installed version with your package manager. ## Supported action No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything. ## Required regression checks - Run the test suite and a production build. - Exercise the features that depend on github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel. - Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed. ## Rollback considerations - Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-qvvf-q994-x79v (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-qvvf-q994-x79v lists affected ranges: Go github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel >=0 <=0.0.0-20260313024916-fd6526133bb3) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
