Source description

As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.

An insufficient session expiration vulnerability exists in the latest version of parisneo/lollms. The application fails to invalidate active sessions after a password reset, allowing an attacker to continue using an old session token. This issue arises due to the absence of logic to reject requests after a period of inactivity and the excessively long default session duration of 31 days. The vulnerability enables an attacker to maintain persistent access to a compromised account, even after the victim resets their password.

## Affected components
- PyPI lollms: affected <= 11.0.0

## Suggested inspection (read-only)
- `python -m pip show lollms`: prints the installed version. Run with the environment that serves production active.

## Supported action
No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything.

## Required regression checks
- Run the test suite and a production build.
- Exercise the features that depend on lollms.
- Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed.

## Rollback considerations
- Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward.

## Unresolved questions
- Which deployments run an affected version?
- Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority.
- Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production.
