CVE-2026-101048GHSA-v6w6-358x-2433

What to do

Partial vendor fix. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check back for a fix.

Source description

As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.

Summary Cloudreve exposes two admin node test endpoints under the Admin.Read OAuth scope. These endpoints accept attacker-controlled node definitions and cause Cloudreve to make outbound server-side network requests. This allows an OAuth client authorized only for Admin.Read to trigger operational network actions that should require Admin.Write. Impact An attacker who obtains an admin-authorized OAuth token with Admin.Read but not Admin.Write can make the Cloudreve server connect to arbitrary URLs supplied in the request body. This can be used for blind SSRF, internal service probing, and triggering signed Cloudreve slave-style requests to attacker-chosen endpoints. Affected version Verified in source and runtime on latest master commit ba2e870bbd17f1918dd2321de861e453f696d6a3 and latest observed tag 4.16.1. Technical details The authenticated admin route group requires only Admin.Read: The following routes are registered without ScopeAdminWrite: By contrast, node create, update, and…

## Suggested inspection (read-only)
- Go github.com/cloudreve/Cloudreve/v3: check the installed version with your package manager.

- Go github.com/cloudreve/Cloudreve/v4: check the installed version with your package manager.

## Supported action
No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything.

## Required regression checks
- Run the test suite and a production build.
- Exercise the features that depend on github.com/cloudreve/Cloudreve/v3, github.com/cloudreve/Cloudreve, github.com/cloudreve/Cloudreve/v4.
- Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed.

## Rollback considerations
- Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward.

## Unresolved questions
- Which deployments run an affected version?
- Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority.
- Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production.
