# Patch Next advisory brief: CVE-2026-0770 Advisory: Langflow affected by Remote Code Execution via validate_code() exec() IDs: CVE-2026-0770, GHSA-g22f-v6f7-2hrh Record: https://patchnext.com/advisories/cve-2026-0770 (revision 4, source checked 26 Oct 2026, 13:36 UTC) Inventory: none attached. This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected. Severity: High (CVSS 8.9) Exploitation: confirmed: listed in the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Vendor response: Vendor response not established. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed. ## Affected components - PyPI langflow: affected <= 1.7.3 ## Suggested inspection (read-only) - `python -m pip show langflow`: prints the installed version. Run with the environment that serves production active. ## Supported action No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything. ## Required regression checks - Run the test suite and a production build. - Exercise the features that depend on langflow. - Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed. ## Rollback considerations - Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-g22f-v6f7-2hrh (OSV record GHSA-g22f-v6f7-2hrh lists affected ranges: PyPI langflow >=0 <=1.7.3) - Verified: https://www.cisa.gov/sites/default/files/feeds/known_exploited_vulnerabilities.json (CISA added CVE-2026-0770 to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-07-21.) - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-g22f-v6f7-2hrh (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-g22f-v6f7-2hrh lists affected ranges: PyPI langflow >=0 <=1.7.3) - Verified: https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog (CISA added CVE-2026-0770 to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-07-21.)
