Source description
As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Dreampie Resty versions up to the 1.3.1.SNAPSHOT. This affects the function Request of the file /resty-httpclient/src/main/java/cn/dreampie/client/HttpClient.java of the component HttpClient Module. Such manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.

This brief comes from a public page and does not say whether any deployment is affected. Severity: Low (CVSS 2.9) Exploitation: no confirmed exploitation recorded. Patch Next confirms exploitation only from CISA KEV. Vendor response: Vendor response not established. A vendor fix does not mean a deployment is fixed. ## Affected components - Maven cn.dreampie:resty: affected <= 1.3.1.SNAPSHOT ## Suggested inspection (read-only) - Maven cn.dreampie:resty: check the installed version with your package manager. ## Supported action No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything. ## Required regression checks - Run the test suite and a production build. - Exercise the features that depend on cn.dreampie:resty. - Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed. ## Rollback considerations - Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-cv3m-hxpc-4hvm (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-cv3m-hxpc-4hvm lists affected ranges: Maven cn.dreampie:resty >=0 <=1.3.1.SNAPSHOT) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
