Source description
As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.
CONS3RT Plugin 1.0.0 and earlier does not perform permission checks in methods implementing form validation. This allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified HTTP server using attacker-specified credentials IDs obtained through another method, capturing credentials stored in Jenkins. Additionally, these form validation methods do not require POST requests, resulting in a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.

Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-74x9-fhc2-p79f (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-74x9-fhc2-p79f lists affected ranges: Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:cons3rt >=0 <=1.0.0) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
