Source description

As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.

Jenkins Android Signing Plugin 2.2.5 and earlier does not perform a permission check in a method implementing form validation. This allows attackers with Item/Read permission but without Item/Workspace or Item/Configure permission to check whether attacker-specified file patterns match workspace contents. A sequence of requests can be used to effectively list workspace contents.

## Affected components
- Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:android-signing: affected <= 2.2.5

## Suggested inspection (read-only)
- Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:android-signing: check the installed version with your package manager.

## Supported action
No complete vendor fix is recorded. Follow the primary source's mitigation guidance and check this record again before closing anything.

## Required regression checks
- Run the test suite and a production build.
- Exercise the features that depend on org.jenkins-ci.plugins:android-signing.
- Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed.

## Rollback considerations
- Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward.

- Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority.
- Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production.
