Source description

As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.

Link Column Plugin allows users with View/Configure permission to add a new column to list views that contain a user-configurable link.\n\nLink Column Plugin 1.0 and earlier does not filter the URL for these links, allowing the javascript: scheme. This results in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by users able to configure list views.

## Affected components
- Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:link-column: affected <= 1.0

## Suggested inspection (read-only)
- Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:link-column: check the installed version with your package manager.

## Required regression checks
- Run the test suite and a production build.
- Exercise the features that depend on org.jenkins-ci.plugins:link-column.
- Repeat the inspection and confirm that only fixed versions remain installed.

## Rollback considerations
- Keep the previous lockfile and deployment artifact. Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward.
