Source description
As published by the source; long descriptions are shortened.
Selenium Plugin 3.141.59 and earlier has no CSRF protection for its HTTP endpoints. This allows attackers to perform the following actions: - Restart the Selenium Grid hub. - Delete or replace the plugin configuration. - Start, stop, or restart Selenium configurations on specific nodes. Through carefully chosen configuration parameters, these actions can result in OS command injection on the Jenkins controller.

Rolling back reinstates the vulnerable version, so apply any documented mitigation while you fix forward. ## Unresolved questions - Which deployments run an affected version? - Exploitation status can change. Check again before lowering the priority. - Mark the work resolved only after the fixed version is verified in production. ## Sources - Verified: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-rp4x-xpgf-4xv7 (GitHub-reviewed advisory GHSA-rp4x-xpgf-4xv7 lists affected ranges: Maven org.jenkins-ci.plugins:selenium >=0 <=3.141.59) Commands are suggestions: review each one before running it.
